After graduating from the faculty of economics, he worked for many years in the AIS and ATC units of the Turkish State Airports Authority (DHMI) at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul. Later, Ergün took part in the establishment of Pegasus Airlines and set up Antalya station facilities and operations control center. During this period, he also received a Dispatcher License (FOO) from the American Federal Aviation Administration Authority. He worked as the Chief Flight Operations Manager and the Manager responsible for out stations at Onur Air and Inter Airlines, respectively. Ergun is the head executive in Turan Aviation. He speaks fluent English, Greek, Turkish, Arabic and French. He is also currently working in an Airline as the Flight operations base coordinator. He continuesly travels and keeps flying and coordinating Aircraft Leasing services at the bases without losing his passion for aviation.
